The Idea Behind JuicyMacros

Do you love delicious food and definitely don’t want to miss out on a juicy burger or the occasional delicious milkshake? At the same time, are your body goals and general well-being very important to you? We know this all too well from our own experience, and that’s exactly why we started JuicyMacros. We wanted to meet our daily macronutrient goals, but still didn’t want to miss out on that delicious “juicy” taste in our meals. So the name JuicyMacros practically explains itself. 😉


We believe that conscious nutrition shouldn’t be boring and monotonous, and that even a so-called “cheat meal”, such as a BBQ chicken burrito, can easily be incorporated into your daily routine. How is that supposed to work? Our keyword here is “macro-friendly”.

What does Macro-Friendly Mean?

When we talk about macro-friendly food, we mean recipes in which the so-called macronutrients have been adjusted to fit better into an everyday diet than is often the case with conventional versions. Typical fast food dishes, such as burgers, pizza, or loaded fries, often contain a lot of carbohydrates and fat, but very little protein. Therefore, if you want to eat a high-protein diet without a significant calorie surplus, these dishes are usually not a suitable choice. We don’t even want to start talking about the quality of the ingredients and the health aspects of conventional fast food dishes…


At JuicyMacros, we therefore always focus on increased protein content, as well as adjusted carbohydrates and fats. We create all of our recipes with the idea that they can be easily incorporated into a variety of diets and that body goals can be achieved with fewer sacrifices and more enjoyment.

Whether American, Tex-Mex, Asian, or European specialties, we draw inspiration for our macro-friendly dishes from cuisines all over the world.
